Good Tournament or Bad Tournament?

I got $280 riding on Gonzaga tomorrow for my bracket, will let you know by midnight tomorrow if it was a good tournament or bad tournament.

If Gonzaga had lost. I wouldn’t even watch the championship game. If Gonzaga wins, it was a good tournament. Timmie flexing on fools is well worth the watch.

Not a great tournament cause we were out early, but I’d give it 7-8 out of 10 so pretty good overall.
It was just nice to have March Madness again. It’s always been my favorite time of year.

The quality of teams has been pretty bad for years now. Between one and dones and the increase in transfers, I think the crazy amount of roster turnover has caught up to college basketball.

There’s a reason the number of upsets in early rounds has become more commonplace - the 1 through 4 seeds just aren’t as good as they used to be. It’s what happens when the most talented teams in the country are made up primarily of freshmen and sophomores.
The numbers of upsets in the early rounds has been declining over time. This year is an aberration to the trend, likely due to the nature of the season, less practice time and games, harder to seed with the unbalanced schedules and less reliable metrics, etc.

In the history of the NCAA Tournament, 85% of the champions have been 1 or 2 seeds. The media sells the underdog dream, but it rarely happens.
Another one of your posts that reads like it's demonstrating where AI falls short.

If it wasn't for UCLA that was the worst tournament from the round of 8 and beyond ever. Every game except the games UCLA played were horrible

With my bracket and Gonzaga losing, I needed to have the total score stay under 158. Final score was 156. I won $280!

Obviously, it was a tournament unlike any before with the bubble and drastic limits on numbers of fans allowed in attendance, BUT it was excellent in that it took place. (Tsk, tsk, tsk Ivy League.) It was very encouraging for student athletes and supporters of the programs alike in a time where we all hungered for something that was not just entertaining, but meaningful. The great games along with the obstacles that all of the teams, officials, and NCAA tournament committee had to overcome made this tournament a uniquely successful and memorable one.
