This made me throw up just a bit. Not sure if I despise Sepp more of less that Mark Emmert. Of course he throws out a bone saying that the US should host the 2012 World Cup. That’s classic Sepp, hind the dirt (2018 World Cup in Russia under the leadership of Furher Putin and the 2022 World Cup bought and paid for by Oil) but getting the naïve all excited about something else.

And I am sure he will have no trouble buying the votes he needs, as long as places like Gibraltar, The Faroe Islands, The Caymans, and Trinidad have as much of say as the major nations.

Heh, Uruguay is too small to host a World Cup. But Qatar isn't. Ummm OK.

Running a banana republic can be very lucrative. When you can avoid the threat of a violent revolution, even more so.

Love how Blatter threw the US a bone by saying we should get the 2026 WC. If there is a Federation that could make things painful for FIFA it's the US. Blatter's little comment had to be the most self serving and transparent comment from him in a while.
