10 year old movie with an excellent cast showing on Cinemax for the next week or so. I just watched it for the first time. Very good movie with the focus more on broadcast news than the Joseph McCarthy events that it covers. Only about 90 minutes so it won't be a huge time investment and I think well worth it.

Favorite part of the criticism from the test audiences: They commented that the actor that portrayed McCarthy was too over the top when all of the McCarthy scenes were actual footage of him (got that from wikipedia).

Liked it. Very good acting and well made.

As you say....well worth the 90 minutes.
