New Hampshire's staff just got better. Head coach Maureen Magarity lost a member of her staff and she has just hired Brendan Copes [of Windsor Locks fame back in the day]. Brendan is her husband and she had to get a waiver to hire a relative....which was gladly given. Maureen has UNH on the uptick and Brendan has a strong basketball background...among the credentials was coaching both the boys' and girls' team at West Point Prep in Jersey. I hear Maureen discussed the matter with Jen [Jen's husband of course is on her staff].
It took Brendan about one 30 second possession after his hire to get on the job....good luck to New Hampshire's First Basketball couple.
