Hard to tell, he's one of the few players to wear a shirt under his jersey.

The extra distance doesn't seem to bother him. Passing is pretty good, not surprising considering what UConn ran. From preseason and the first two games he seems to play pretty well with Ryan (another shooter). New Orleans looks night and day compared to preseason through two games. They were so lazy during preseason.

The Pels are missing three guys who are probably in their top 8 right now in Naji Marshall (SF), Trey Murphy (SG) and Jose Alvardo (PG). So they are going pretty far down their bench right now.

He's been incredibly streaky in the NBA so far. He missed 3 straight 3s in garage time just letting it fly. He's been either like 3/6 or 1/7 so far in preseason.

3-for-3 from downtown in the first half when it mattered. The garbage time misses were inconsequential. Definitely looked stronger and mixed it up on the boards. Did get beaten a few times off the dribble by Quickley.

That’s how he’s going to be. He’s going to let them fly in limited minutes. If he shoot over 37% on the season for 3 it will be huge. But he is going to have some 0-for games for sure.

I watched this game to see him. In his first half minutes, you could see he had a green light from the coaches. iirc, 2 of his 3 3's were with a hand in his face, and the other was in transition. The N.O. announcers loved him.

That sort of fits with how he was at UConn. I had more confidence in him making the three flying off of some screens with a hand coming out towards him than the open ones.

Limited minutes? he played most of the 2nd and 4th quarter. Now, they have several rotation guys hurt, so this may not last, but he played more than I thought he would. And also, no plays called for him. The shots he took he had to hoist on his own.
