From Dan LeBetard of Miami Herald discussing our desire to assign blame and find the goat in every close game. The whole thing is interesting and worth a read. The Ray tidbits were:
Not surprising: computers have analyzed lots of physical data of NBA games and determined that Ray has the least variance in his jump shot trajectory of any player in the league. No difference at all between makes and misses.
Surprising: After his tying three, he screamed out to the security on that sideline (where LeBetard could presumably hear it): "Get those (bad word) ropes outta here."
