Nearly 40 pt lead before halftime. I think from what I have seen so far--they are a top 5 team.

Nah. St. Joe's is lulling Gonzaga into a false sense of security before they pounce. That Phil Martelli is wily. Wily I say, wily!

th

Wait for it, wait, wait...wait...

I've been down on Gonzaga in recent years but I think this is going to be their most talented team ever.

St Joes lost what 5 of its top 6 players? I think they only have one guy returning who saw any decent PT last year

Chris Wilson and DeAndre Bembry both started for them last year. Bembry in particular is going to be a hell of a player (he sucked tonight, though). But yeah, you knew it was going to be a rebuilding year after they lost Galloway, Kanacevic, and Roberts.

But holy hell, I think Gonzaga was up 64-11 at some point in that game. That team looks damn near unguardable.

Completely forgot Wilson. Still when you go 5 deep and lose 3 guys it's going to be a rough year. Go zags did look good but SJU might be the worst team in the A10.

Perfect example of why I don't bet. I saw that St. Joe's was a 22.5 point underdog last night and thought the line looked crazy. I would have lost a lot of money.

Gonzaga is giving the RS to Silas Melson who in my opinion may have turned out to be the most underrated recruit in the country. They are giving the RS probably because they are adding another piece at the end of December in Eric McClellan. http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcspo...o-add-former-vanderbilt-guard-eric-mcclellan/

I don't trust Mark Few at all as a coach when March rolls around but this year there is so much experience on the team that Few's ineptness as a game coach in the tournament may be seriously mitigated. Sabonis is impressive.
