BIG win.

The whole team should be celebrating McNeeley and Singare. They both stepped tf up.

Reed did great considering the surprise of having to change his role.

Stewart improving every game.

AK will never play like that again. Guaranteed.

We need Nowell to spell Diarra for those 10-15mpg. Mahaney will look much better when he can be a 2G.

Such a fun game. Physical, grind it out win.

Interesting lineups from Coach.
  • Ross in for some big minutes for his defensive length against Nembhard, which resulted in one steal.
  • Liam as well on Nembhart towards the end.

Good defensive strategy (a little late in the game though), length seemed to bother Nembhard more than Diarra pressuring him.

Shout out to Youssif Singare today! He was HUGE when we needed him most. He is earning the floor.

Lets Go!

McNeeley is just en feugo

I thought Singare might get a tech with the shoving he was doing. Great game for him though.

Unbelievable game. McNeeley was quite impressive. A little bit better three point shooting and this is not even a close contest.

Singare with another impressive stint. He had three rebounds, one was an offensive one that he kicked out to McNeeley who missed an open look. He ran the floor extremely hard, and only committed one foul. It is great knowing that when our two bigs get in foul trouble, we have a third option that can effectively hold down the fort for short stretches.

Baylor, then Texas, then Gonzaga, we ran the table after Maui. The improvements on defense are really impressive. We’ve got guys stepping up with tangible improvement in every game. McNeeley, Stewart, Reed, even Ross tonight.

its getting good…

So now looking back on it, 2 of our 3 losses were against top 25 teams. Maui makes a little more sense
I’ve said this other years that weren’t dumpster fires for us but those tournaments are unlike any other games all year. You don’t get to put in a game plan and practice it, other than for your first opponent.

Going to give a hat tip to Solo Ball as well. He has looked lost defensively at times this year. It was night and day vs. tonight. Gonzaga is a tough team to guard and he looked so much more aware and locked in on the off-ball stuff and rotations.

Monster game by Liam.Played with the maturity of a four year-All League guy. Perimeter D at the three point line was excellent. Huge Quad 1 W for the Good Guys.Stewie is starting to grow up. Singare playing loose with house money. All good

8-0 at MSG. Let's take it to X at the XL on Wed.

Alex will shoot better let’s not get down on him. Shooter must continue to shoot. But this was one helluva win and is absolutely huge for the team believing in itself. Those 2 Zag guards are unreal and we beat them without our ’starting” center, Team showed great effort and courage. Great building block and we have grown since Maui.

Maui was an anamoly
Yes and although we were expected to do well, 2 losses by a total of 3 points kept us from 10-1 record right now. Hope Samson is ok. He was a force before he left the game. I wish I could say Mahaney will improve, but I have doubts. His style of play doesn’t suit us and he was a huge detriment tonight.

Great win. Love owning MSG. The defense still needs work but it is definitely coming along.

It's fair to ask. What the hell is going on with Karaban? His confidence looks shot.

Everyone on the team deserves a massive round of applause. Singare had some nice minutes when he was desperately needed. A couple of huge offensive rebounds and a couple of nice defensive stands.

Stewart made a couple of huge shots, Ross with a great defensive play which led to a score, McNeeley was player of the game.

If there is anything to nitpick, it was the vets, huge win so they won't be examined.

Liam is our best player and shout out singare. He’s gonna be playing a lot if Samson misses time but it’s not like we have any ranked opponents on the horizon. Time to steamroll the BE.

Perfect opportunity to work Nowell in as our backup PG, that’s really our only weakness. D will continue to improve.

Weirdly, on the offensive side, I saw him all alone in the corner, particularly against zone, and he was just ignored 2x. They were running a play but he was by himself.
