McNeeley is extremely underrated. Similar to Castle. He is a complete wing. Defends hard. Cool like castle too , but also has that Hurley maniac in him. What im saying is , did we get the best Monteverde player from last year ?

Beside the obvious Liam, Singare was very good on D and setting screens and some important rebounds. Hats of to him, looks like he will be getting some minutes now. Ross played better for those that think he does not belong. Good game for him. Stewie, what can you say he stepped up big time tonight. He's still has more in him. Oh, Mahaney did not look to happy on the bench in the 2nd half. We are playing better each game. Reed is a monster and getting better. Big East, next.

I thought the original report on Nowell was 2-3 weeks. I was surprised to hear he was a game time decision. Unless they are going to keep game time decisioning him until 2-3 weeks pass.

What exactly is wrong with Karaban? He missed all of his 3’s. Didn’t box out on several occasions. Threw the ball away a few times and seemed reluctant to shoot for most of the game.
He had a somewhat similar game last year against Marquette at the Civic Center. It turned out to be irrelevant for him, the game, and the season.

Hopefully back soon. Mahaney just kept getting cooked on D and that braindead 10 seconds. I don't think it's happening with him.
The more I see Mahaney play, he doesn't seem to be able to handle playing at this level.

That backcourt call was horrendous....I think Hurley can deal with physical lapses but mental errors are worrisome.

Aiden might be our Nick Timberlake.

Weirdly, on the offensive side, I saw him all alone in the corner, particularly against zone, and he was just ignored 2x. They were running a play but he was by himself.
He has improved defense, now he has to be better as a creator and getting rim pressure. He is too athletic too just be most effective off ball and catch and shoot

Alex & Solo aren’t gonna shoot a combined 1-11 from 3 too often.

Everyone stepped up and contributed to a gritty win.

Really liked Singare’s effort and Ross played some fabulous defense. He’s starting to look more composed on offense.

JStew with some BIG momentum shots.

Kudos to Battle. Dude has line of the most awkward shots you’ll see but was on fire. Glad he missed his first FT of the year when he did!
Also, kudos to the announcer for putting the pre shot kibosh on him by saying he’s the best FT shooter in the country….klank

I’m in favor of Ball’s minutes getting scaled back a bit for Stewart to get more minutes. Some might say Stewart might get mismatched against smaller players, but would he be more of a defensive liability than Ball? I’d like see a Diarra/Stewart/Liam/Alex/Samson or Reed combo on the floor at times and see how that looks.

That 10 seconds violation was disgustingly bad. I was screaming WTF are you doing he just stopped bringing the ball up like he had all the time in the world.
He can't play d at PG. On offense it just isn't natural for him and he doesn't possess the speed or strength to handle pressure. Play him off the ball.

I don't think I've ever seen an unpressured 10sec call before...

Maui didn't make sense. We weren't getting whistles and our defense was trash and Hurley lost his mind. He was way too tightly wound 30 seconds into the Memphis game. We lost that one and things snowballed without any practices to make the fixes. I was dejected but I kept saying we were so much less than our parts, there's a ton of talent on this team.

opposing players are in his shirt and right up in his face trying to take away his 3s and AK's response to that has been to shoot them further away from the 3 point line. If you look at the 3s he took today, they are about 5 feet or more behind the 3 point line. I know people will say he has been doing that for a while, but I think he did that even moreso today.
