Portland played GU tough in the first meeting this year, doing it again. 29-28 GU about 4 minutes into Q3. Zags defense is stingy but I'm not sure they can score enough points to beat good teams once they get in the Tourney. Their offense has been struggling for a while. Getting 2 games in Spokane would probably carry them to the Sweet 16 though.

56-42 Zags win. They've held a number of opponents under 50, but failed to crack 60 themselves several times. Kind of impressive and not impressive at the same time. Somehow I can't bring myself to believe that everybody in the WCC plays really great defense.
