Will be in CT that weekend for a surprise party for SIL Sat night, so plan on going to Rent for the game. Haven't been in close to a decade (a humiliating loss to Cuse).

Tix on UConn's preferred online seller only have availability in upper corners. I see good seats at an OK price on RateYourSeat.com, but have never used them. Anyone know if they're 100% reliable? Being old and creaky we're looking for seatbacks. They have a bunch in and around Sec 200, so just wanted to know if it's a good site for getting tix.

What local breweries sell beer on site?

I hope to be packing some solid Pittsburgh brews and will be happy to trade. Would love to try a Treehouse while in the area (but won't have time to visit breweries).

Whose tailgates can wife (who will wear Pitt garb) and I crash?

I usually buy in or around section 200 on StubHub. I I looked earlier today and they were $42 if I remember right.

Buy them soon because similar tickets for Temple are $74. Assuming we beat Temple, Wake tickets will be in high demand.

So has anyone bought UConn football tickets at Costco? At the Waterbury store they are selling upper level seats at 2 tickets for $ 49.95. The vouchers are at the kiosk where you get movie tickets & restaurant gift cards.

My crew resides at the top row of Section 103. There seems to be lots of vacancies in 102, 103, & 104,,, At least there were for the 1st 3 home games.

I'm actually going to be in town for the game as well... First game since the win against Houston in 2015... It's been a while.
Ironically that was my last game at the rent as well

To answer your breweries question:

There are a ton of smaller stands around the whole concourse that will be selling 1-2 "craft" beers...usually ones from:

NEBCO (Fuzzy Baby Ducks, Sea Hag)
Counterweight (Headway)
Lawsons (Sip o Sunshine)
Kinsmen (Husky Hops)

I think there are a couple others, but I'm forgetting them off the top of my head.

At the end of the concourse by the big scoreboard, there are a couple of bigger "Craft Beer and other misc swill (read: American light lagers, seltzers, spritzers, etc.)" stands. These usually have the same ones mentioned above,, plus a decent selection of some other local/national craft beers

All-in-all, it's a pretty good selection...but it could be so much better. I'm sure concessions contracting plays a big role in what ends up for sale at the Rent. I'd really love to see 10-20 (or more!) of our excellent CT local breweries showcasing their beers in a beer tent. Have it be a rotating thing for each game...we have 100+ breweries in CT!

Next game, people will be yelling out Dream Jobbed, UConnDan etc. My son is already embarrassed by my antics......

Thanks I completely forgot about Two Roads (even though I walk by it every game to get to our seats).
