So I’m debating going to the UMass game. There doesn’t appear to be many tickets on the secondary market, but UMass site has tickets and parking. Wondering who from the boneyard is going and where you‘re sitting. Also, wondering about tailgate plans. The wife has made it clear she is NOT going. Looking to sit with some Husky fans and possibly crash a tailgate if there is a group congregating somewhere.

Also looking forward to our first win of the season! Go Huskies!

How much for tix & parking on the UMass site?
Tickets are either $23 or $31. Even the $23 tix were near the 30 yard line. Any closer are higher priced. Parking was $10 (I think). Don't recall completely. The cheapest I saw in secondary market was $20, but most were $30-50. It was a bit weird...

I mean, as a UMass alum, is that homecoming? Can I get a better rate as an alum I can share with you? I’ll totally go and sit with anyone so long as I can see the matching band perform straight on!

Do you mean UConn fans or just in general? Never been to McGurk myself.
McGuirk doesn’t draw a huge crowd. 20 years ago as a math/ stats major we did a study and it determined that the marching band brought in significantly more spectators than then football team…. Then shortly after without alumni support or a significant fan base they moved up to FBS… sigh.

McGuirk seats 17K, expandable to 21,400.

Never been up there either but I'm thinking of making the trip up this weekend.

Unfortunately can’t go this weekend. I went two years ago. Seemed like a bit of an old UConn/Yale game at the Bowl during my college years. Slow to get in lot and a lot of people tailgating. Then not so many at game itself. Guessing they continued to tailgate or went back to their dorms. I hope we get a win.

Buy the cheapest seat you can find and sit where you please.

If going buy parking in advance.

I have 2 tix in the UConn section that I can't use. Paid $30 per ticket. Will take best offer.

Picked up one on the secondary market last night - with additional fees was about $30. Will be cheering in the blue & white section Sat afternoon.

What r u doing for parking? I hear it’s like $40 without a pass!

Going to first game this season. There will be 5 more UConn fans.

Nearby lots are $10 with a prepaid pass, $30 day of game (cash only), $40 otherwise. (see map)

Free parking areas are a 20-30 minutes walk. I might just do that.

Buying tix last minute. What section is the visitor / UConn section??

Primarily section 18 - that's where I'll be. Guessing they'll be plenty of places to move around like the Rent.
