Haven't been to an event at People's Bank Arena (XL, Civic Center) in years. Looks like the game is just about sold out. Should I worry about finding a place to park? Thanks in advance.

I don't see a downside in doing that. The need to do this also depends how early you plan to get to Hartford. If you're going out before the game and expect to get to Hartford at least a couple hours before the game then no need. You'll get parking wherever you want. If you're planning to get there 30 minutes before the game then sure, go ahead and reserve a space.

Last time I reserved a parking spot, the lot was already full when I got there and no attendant to be found and I was SOL. Had to then find another lot to park in - essentially paid double. Would never book again - there's plenty of lots around the arena even if its a sell out. I would just try to get there a little earlier.

My first time coming to a game since I lived in NYC over 10 years ago. We’re trying to find parking on the fly with fingers crossed.
