We played through
A rough period of being out of the process
We started slow but showed great defense again
We’re going to have diversify our offense and we will
Many many positives
With our defense we can be in any game
We have a superstar
We have post players we well get involved
We have more troops coming
Yes we lost but did we really lose? We saw a lot of good out there.
Also stupid to blame Hurley for anything
We’re on position to win
Nothing else u can ask for

It doesn't rhyme, but I think a poem can be a poem without rhyming.

How about input from the English Majors on the BY?

What is this style above called?

Is it a poem, a narrative, or something else?

It's something very special and unique. I think it needs it's own category.

Something else. It's jibberish.

A plaudit because of its optimism?

Not a dirge because it lacks pessimism?

Or just stream of consciousness while not conscious?

A reverie? Hopefully not a delusion.

"We lost but did we really lose"....lol.

Yes we lost a game vs a top 10 team that should be a win 99 times out of 100.

All that matters on Selection Sunday are wins so we need to win on the scoreboard or it's a loss. Not complicated.

Moral victories are in the past where they belong.

I think these are lyrics from a song. I'll get back to you when I figure out what song and then it'll all make sense.

Generally like everything you said, butt

Yes, we really lost

And we can ask for wins

:)

If we get the Polley from his last game last year back at any point with Akok — this team will be very tough to contend with.

Akok averaged about 6 points a game so absent some improvement there I don't really see him as a new weapon on offense.

I’m all for having Akok and Polley back but the fate of this team rests solely on the two “point guards”. If they can’t create, distribute and hit some open shots, Akok and Polley won’t help enough. We just aren’t getting any penetration from the guards and the game is very hard when played that way. I’d be having both of them pushing the ball into the lane in practice nonstop. You don’t have to get swallowed up under the hoop when you drive. You can pull up or dish it. Our recent history of guards driving under the hoop then crashing and burning is frightening.

Both are returning from injuries that usually require 6+ months of play for the player to get comfortable trusting the problem area again. I wouldn't expect much from either this season

A few good minutes from both, off the bench would help.

This is called a “Scrappy post,” and the world could use more of them.

It’s like the nba trade deadline
We’re gonna get two good players and barring injury — give up nothing.
All we want as a team that’s goal is to win a championship is having the Avenue to win 6 games. At UConn defense a star player and great role players has helped us win them
If we can get a 100% Polley in the next 6 weeks and bring back Akok for additional rim protection off the bench — I think we have the ingredients.
One thing we missed last game was Whaley only playing half a game - especially on offense— we missed easy buckets. A Shane we lost but I feel we are the better team. Same team that played well against other top teams.
I said it from day 1. We have the goods to win it all
