GM Preston to Stanford

Seemed to do a good job here. Lost a lot of behind the scenes guy after year 1 of Mora. Means they did a great job, but still wished we didn't lose as many. Don't remember this many guys leaving with the other coaches.

We had a backroom staff of 10 under RE. Inthink it was 37 last year.

This sucks. He is really good. Curious to see where HCJM turns next.

This is a sign of a healthy program and it will incentivize people to work for Mora. Generally, people didn't move during the Edsall era which is a bad sign.

Jeez California, and so far it hasn’t been a snowy/cold winter in CT.
Good point but it does snow in the Stanford area. I think it has more to do with $$$$ than it does the weather. ;)
Jim is doing all he can and pressuring the school for more funding. We (UConn) are in such a precarious place, Jim and Dave get it but the simple fact is ......... If you want to play with the big boys you have to pay like the big boys, but without the revenue to do so.
We shall see how the exodus and influx coaching / assistant ratio works out. Meanwhile back at The Dog House with Jim off to a good start we shall see if there are more fannies in the seats this year.

But it snowed in LA last week....It postponed the Xfinity race because of the weather...snow in the morning, a cold rain in the afternoon...

Now, I have to visit Stanford's forum to see what they say about this hire and about UConn...I hope they have good things to say about UConn.
