I think Glen Miller has done an amazing job at UConn on the sidelines. At times I think he is a bit under appreciated by the fan base. Sometimes I wonder why his name doesn't surface more when there are coaching vacancies. Thanks coach for everything! I know this link has already been posted but it was important for me to highlight again what a terrific job coach M has done.

"Miller immediately understood the brilliance behind the drill. Historically, basketball players are taught to try to calm themselves down before attempting a free throw, often by going through an elaborate pre-shot routine of bouncing and spinning balls, pulling on their jersey, even mimicking a follow thru."

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend Boneyarders.

Agreed, I think as much as Ollie was the heart and soul of this team, I think Miller was the mad scientist. I think it was after MSU in the garden when ollie turns and playfully shoves Miller, I think it was an acknowledgement of his gameplan. I know I insanely read too much into the small details, but its a nice idea.

Thanks for the great pic of coach Miller dancing included in the thread and other contributing comments. The picture of Miller dancing captures the essence of UConn's run to its 4th National Championship.

To all Boneyarders that understand the significance of Miller's contributions....

This Bud's for you! :)

Enjoy and be safe.

Ollie smartly has surrounded himself with experienced assistants like Miller, Hobbs and Blaney in Ollie's first year. Selfishly I hope Miller is here to stay. Miller definitely deserves more credit.
