Have a blessed day.He fought his way back from tough injuries and played his ass off for us. A true Husky who helped bring the program back. May his path forward be blessed.
Not cool man. CV didn’t have to go through even close to the same amount of trials that AG went through with his body. No need for the subtle dig. He played his heart out for us to the best of his capabilitiesSwap Al for CV and I agree.
Lotta folks here think that's a league on the come!At least he stuck with a basketball school in a semi-football conference. Best of luck!
What other schools were interested in AG?

Asking around. But did hear he had better offers but this was the school that promised him endless time. No bench and no shot is bad....
Not stay in same dead conferenceWhat do you think he should have done?
I don't consider a grad transfer, a transferWhat's interesting to me is that it looks like he is transferring to WSU for a role at the point. Felt as though he excelled best off of the ball and really struggled when he was at point guard. Anyway I hope that this works out for him and will have to check in for their big games. People are saying this is the first transfer of the Hurley era, which is true, but this was not ugly at all. Durham, Vance and Enoch didn't have nearly as much mutual respect for their head coach as AG. Go Shockers.
Not stay in same dead conference
Not go to a team that’s falling apart
Not go to a team In middle of nowhere
Go closer to home
Stay with UConn in big East
Enough reasons?
Hurley and Gregg Marshall have a very good relationship and I heard this was a factor in this as well.

At least it is not likely he will be playing against UConn.Well both can be true, no? It’s weird for me as a UConn fan that he’s going there. But to AG the person it makes total sense.
Plus, he's not going in completely cold. He doesn't have time for that.Playing time. Change of scenery. Familiar competition. All makes sense to me.
The middle of Kansas/Middle of nowhere lines are just untrue. Wichita is a city of like 400,000 and the Shockers draw 10k+ per game. Marshall has had them ranked in the top 20 9 of the last 10 seasons and in the top 10 4 in 4 separate seasons. This ain’t Last Chance U.So strange - middle of Kansas- don’t get this one at all. I hope he does well but I could easily see him looking back on this this time next year and saying why did I go there? At least go to Georgia or some some mid- lower level SEC/acc school closer to home - why would you want to stay in the same trash conference where everybody knows u? he really rather play in Wichita than back with UConn in the big East atmosphere for five - 7 less minutes a game? disappointing- but he’s still one of my fave huskies in recent memory.
Maybe he likes cornHope he crushes it but I don't understand the decision at all.
Every player has the right to go wherever he feels is best for him...Alterique graduated. He earned the right to go wherever he feels best for him.
I’ve been to Wichita more than a few times. It’s a great town especially for hoops. Shockers are their pride and joy. They’re one of the few AAC teams that actually pack their arena. The middle of Kansas/Middle of nowhere lines are just untrue. Wichita is a city of like 400,000 and the Shockers draw 10k+ per game. Course he does. And I have the right to think it’s a very strange moveAlterique graduated. He earned the right to go wherever he feels best for him.
Eh, let’s not overstate it. Ez -it’s still the state of Kansas. Best of luck Al- you were always one of my favorites. Hope it works outThe middle of Kansas/Middle of nowhere lines are just untrue.
