Brimah is the 1 weak link.
he needs to go out there and rebound.
very very very excited about Gibbs and next years team.
welcome Gibbs. Thanks for coming here to help try and win #5.
if you don't, be prepared to suffer the Consequences......
I will Yell and Scream a lot

If Amida Brimah is the "weak link", this is a darned good team.

Four guys that can (hopefully) pass the ball: Adams, Gibbs, DHam, and Miller.

I don't recall any UConn men's team that had 4 guys who can pass; the women, of course, their starting five can all pass.
Sam Jr. is also a good passer...this versatility should equal great team chemistry!

Well we weren't that great at center in 2014 and won it but yes AB has to come back stronger or the new kid might see a lot of time at center (SE).

I love that Jerry Meyer stuck with his co-worker as he must of have known he had really good sources unlike some others.

Somewhere Rothstein just flipped over a large pizza in disgust for being played

And how many times will he find a reason to dis the kid while he's a UConn? I suspect we might see pettiness raised to new levels.

This is splendid news. Helps to replace Boat's scoring and provides a consistent 3pt shooter and toughness.

Sterling dropped 40 points in a game last year and has hit several last second shots for Seton Hall, kid is good and clutch.

Well it's official!!!!

Welcome Sterling, Shonn, Steve and Jalen.

Sterling is already listed on this site! http://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/connecticut

Now that it's official I can celebrate twice. Told my wife that if Sterling committed we were heading to B of A. Booked a room at the Comfort Inn last week. Trusted "The Bruce" but didn't want to mess with the mojo by declaring what I did publicly. This is a first for us. Really excited about the team's prospects and the opportunity to see the team develop in a beautiful location.

Great news. I hope we don't start getting all hyped up on a national level now by the media outlets. Still want us underrated so these kids work hard and have something to prove! Excited about this season!

Hope he finally gets his butt to a Big Boy camp this summer.

Boy am I glad I was at my daughter's lacrosse tournament all day and missed the false-Kasango alerts!

Per-game stats for Gibbs in Big East play last year:

Scoring: 17.5 (2nd)
Assists: 4.1 (5th)
Steals: 1.2 (11th)
3P%: 42.0 (7th)
3P made: 2.9 (2nd)
A/T Ratio: 2.0 (3rd)
Someone get me a sponge, I'm drooling uncontrollably

Have to give Ollie big time credit for finding a different path to an elite recruiting class. Gibbs and Miller is equivalent to getting 2 top 10 freshman recruits (kids you would only have 1 year anyway), only more polished, experience and mature versions. UConn ingenuity prevails.
