OT: Giants letting Landon walk

just saw a report saying giants turned down a 1st round pick for Collins at the deadline this past season......if that's true that's inexcusable.

Looks like the Redskins took the Giants stupidity with Landon Collins and said hold my beer.

6 years $84M - $45M guaranteed. Wow.

Hahaha. Glad we passed and good for him getting paid.

I liked Collins and likely would have tagged him, but if he was going to hold out (and with Bell we've seen guys really will do it), then by all means let the Skins have em.

Still shows me that the Giants easily could have traded him for more than a 3rd. I love that WASH overpaid. I hope we can exploit his lack of coverage skills and hopefully he doesn't burn us too badly.

I'm hoping we get a comp pick for him. There were early talks at a possible 3rd.

I think with the price the Skins paid that we’ll prob get back a 3rd. I think that’s a part of how Comp. picks are awarded.

Comp picks are awarded based on net results of FA. So assuming they'd don't bring in any of the elite FA's (which seems like a safe bet) they'll likely get a 3rd
