LOU'S one year at Uconn was one of the most exhilarating year I have ever seen. There may be many more like hers but, I'm not aware. Without her, Uconn probably would have lost 4 or 5 more games, maybe even more. LOU is now a part of Uconn lore that will long be remembered. Best of luck in the WNBA and a happy and healthy life. GO LOU!!!!
Lou's Czech team is playing Grrece tomorrow, Wed at 12.30pm EDT
There are 2 USA players on the Greece team.
Emily Kiser, who played on Michigan last year avg 16 ppg
Caitlin Bickle who played on Baylor last year and averaged 12ppg
Lou is living proof that just because a player is at a mid-major program it says nothing about their level of basketball talent. Talent is talent. Talent isn't affected by the label hung on the program/conference.
After last season, Lou will always have a special place in my heart. She stepped in so ably helped to fill the void created by Paige's crushing loss. I'll always follow her career with special interest- she's a Husky forever.
Lou gave everything she had in every game right up to the last one, She was a warrior for us. In the beginning of the season when Lou and Azzi were both performing well, we looked great. The big East teams really beat her up because they couldn't stop her.
