SEC was legitimately the best for a while but it was overstated. People acted like they reinvented the sport and nobody else could keep up.

That and the portal along with NIL money allowed four and five star players not to be stock piled by SEC teams. Those that want to be on the field sooner rather than later has changed the game.
For better or worse I am still contemplating. It's a cash cow for some and a financial disaster for others.
