I don't see all the love for JRE.

Good player but don't see the athleticism or extreme skill to take over a game when everything else fails.

He was 9-13 with 6 boards and 26 points. I don't think he's got incredible athleticism, but he definitely is polished, savvy and has skills.

Congrats to GTown. Better for the conference if the rest of the old guard (GTown, StJ, SHall, etc.) has some teeth. Nova's had the run of the chicken coop since we got annexed onto the Isle of Misfits.

A good Georgetown and a good Johnnie's would be huge for the conference.
Read my mind. Other than us and Nova, I think GTown has the best chance to have the 3rd major national brand in the league...which the BE sorely needs.

Teams like Creighton, X, and Butler have solid brands but don’t have that same cache.

I was about to reply to him saying the same, but figured someone had already posted his stats. Can’t ask for a heckuva lot more than 26 points on 9-13.

Villanova was the better team. They missed 8 free throws. Georgetown missed none. End of story.
Are free throws not part of the game?

If you used this logic there are lots of UConn games which you could say would have turned out differently. Free throws are part of any game.

Especially Florida in 1994. In all likelihood we would have had our first NC five years sooner.

He’s played more games in that building than all BE players coaches and staff combined so he’s got a good argument

Being a Knicks fan I can agree with both statements being true.

You should have stopped there
It’s Dolans fault the security didn’t know who Ewing was? Lmao. Don’t try so hard. There are actual things he’s done. I’m like 95% positive Pat was joking

Ewing was joking. My point is, why is the MSG response saying Nolan did this or that, saying he was the one made things right? Like you said, Nolan had nothing to do with it and Ewing was joking. But MSG’s statement only concentrates on Nolan? Weird no?

That’s the impression I got. But he had to be a little annoyed. To me it’s all about security not recognizing The guy who is 7’ tall and his number is hanging in the rafters.
