Georgetown roll-call | The Boneyard

Georgetown roll-call

Section 108, so excited to the see boys in person for the first time this season. Not doing brunch beforehand like I did in 2022 but probably hitting the bars afterwards.

I usually try to get to a game when I’m back in CT for Christmas too but schedule didn’t line up this year.

+ 3

It’s also Georgetown’s Gray Out T-shirt giveaway game day. Hopefully, a quick start by us shuts the crowd up early.

Myself plus 3-6 others. I’ll know for sure when they get in this afternoon. And they handled the tickets so I don’t know where we’re seated. Will be at Clyde’s in the morning.

Section 119.

In the words of Conor McGregor, "We're not here to take part. We're here to take over!"

Last year it was about 60/40 UConn fans by my estimation, and place was maybe 1/3 full. I’d guess at least that again on Saturday
That's exactly why I asked that. I remember last year and Georgetown fans, whatever ones are left, are completely despondent about the program.

Georgetown was giving away student tickets earlier this season... attendance is, unsurprisingly, a problem this season.

How many Georgetown fans do you think will be there?
I‘m going with a total attendance of 9,155.
Definitely more G’town fans. I think the giveaway will bring out more fans for them. Mostly younger kids though.

There was an announced attendance of 7,114 for a weekend noon game last season. You think there will be more this season? We'll see but I'm dubious.

You were right and I was wrong. Boxscore says 10,621. For those that were there, were there really a lot of Georgetown fans there? Many UConn fan?

It was a good crowd for a Georgetown game.

Definitely more Georgetown fans but not by much. Their fans started getting loud only after we began getting loud in the second half with UConn chants.
It ended up being a good atmosphere as the game wore down in a close game.
