Didn't catch that during the game but how do 3 refs on the court all miss that? That's pretty egregious.

That was mentioned in the Georgetown post game thread. I had to replay that point in the game myself to confirm that it actually did take place.
With that said, the pulling him off the court took place after or about the time Alex threw the ball into No Man's Land because he had no choice. It was not completely due to that egregious missed foul, nor all his fault. His teammates simply weren't getting open for him, which is 90% of our inbounding problems. I've noticed sometimes our inbounder does miss when a teammate gets open for that brief moment, but most of the time is the lack of presenting a good receiving option.
I posted this in the other thread, that the staff should look through as much tape on how other teams either current or in the past were executing successful inbounding plays. I remember the days when Calhoun actually had some inbound plays that created immediate scoring opportunities, which was part of his offensive arsenal. This team just needs some plays that get the ball in bounds within 5 seconds. Teams have been doing this for decades so I don't know why it is so hard for this team inbound the ball successfully at a higher percentage.
Tell me that just about everyone here feels a certain level of stress every time the team is about to inbound the ball. It's one of those aspects of their game that is taking years off our lives. 🤣
