Count syllables please
Uptick in miscounts today
Let's round into shape
Thinking the boys got
this. Team rounding into shape
right on schedule.
Good guys on a roll,
Pedal to the metal, Let's go!
Winning don't grow old!
Huskies vs Hoyas
Good guys favored big at home
Clearly we are DOOMED
Georgetown’s not ready.
“What are we talking about?”
Yes practice, AI
It's the little things:
Made free throws, defensive stops
And no turnovers

Prescription above
Is the closeout formula
Also no bad shots

Rather than closeout
I'd much prefer a blowout
Shut down Hoyas' threes

Put your whistle away on RedDog. Read the last line as, "Yes, practice A.I." (as in Allen Iverson).

I see what you mean
But not written in haiku
Here's two examples:

RedDog wasn't wrong
Without the period marks
You could call him Al

Elsewhere in Boneyard
I write "DH" or "RJ"
Clearly, error's mine

Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa
Better run to La.

Dammit. Guilty I
Suppose, but I plead the rules
Don't apply post game

Masters of mojo
Operate at a pay grade
Far higher than mine

I count syllables
Everywhere within the thread
Who's to say I'm right?

Your contribution,
where I and l look the same,
Was really helpful
