Lincoln is a great place for a tourney site. Beautiful new arena with a convenient hotel/restarant/pub area. The Haymarket is a nice area and the people are VERY FRIENDLY!!

He was also right about games being difficult at this stage and about the importance of making shots.

Question: does Nebraska play their basketball games at this arena or on-campus???

Interesting that although the shooting seemed bad, they actually shot 48 percent, not bad for an elite 8 game, especially when they shot 18 3's. The rebounding, on the other hand, stunk. aTm's offensive rebound percentage was 36, UConn's was 23.

It picked up considerably when Kiah was in. She just gets almost everything.

She's amazing to watch: with her long arms and strong, lean body, she calmly sweeps up every rebound in sight.

Rebounding stunk ! But after watching replay of the game again, it's not surprising. Huskies are taking a lot of quick jumpers in transition before remaining huskies are in rebounding position. I know Geno wants to push tempo, but it seems to me they are rushing these shots. This has been a trend lately, along with Stewie spending way too much time out at the 3 pt. line. If I'm the opposing coaching staff, I love seeing this.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Why do they rush so many shots rather than take time to set up the plays? Must be deliberate. I know they like to run, and there is plenty of room for that too, for sure. Just nerves I suppose.
