As highly ranked as she was out of HS, I think Heckel was something of a sleeper out of the portal. While upperclassman like Latson & Kneepkins have a higher profile, UConn secured maybe the best backcourt addition out of the portal, given the fact that Heckel has a big upside and 3 more years to reach it.

She is unquestionably highly talented. The only question will be can she adapt to "the UConn way" which is to say Geno's way or the highway - a highly disciplined but beautiful way of balling. In this case I have no worries.
