To watch this game was terrible..game seemed a mile away. THE NCAA does a lousy job with the Women' TMNT. Run it like a second class event.

I’m certainly not a big NCAA fan. Having said that, the problems you mentioned – unlimited transfers and way too long to complete eligibility – are problems that were created by judges who have no clue. The NCAA has no control over many of these issues anymore, since lawyers and agents have judge-shopped to find one who wants to get his/her name in the paper.

If you think there was judge shopping at the Supreme Court you are wrong. It was their decision which started all of this written by Justice Kavanaugh. The NCAA can still control plenty. The NCAA are the ones who came up with the Super Regional, they are the ones who had the discriminatory housing and facilities, terrible time lines, and this year they came up with bringing in brand new baskets and rims for the games. Listen to Geno's presser about it. I guess the WNBA rims aren't good enough for the NCAA. I don't believe you have basketball people making these decisions at the NCAA. Only bean counters.

Interesting read but it proves nothing. If you take any team in a new arena, let them practice for an hour at 6:00 am and then play at 5:00 pm that day on brand new rims that are stiff, with over inflated balls, no amount of empirical research is going to convince me that it has no effect. Your eye needs to get used to the rims, the background, the feel, etc. It's just basketball.
