Who says Geno was even talking about Wilson? His team just won a national championship and people believe he's thinking about a player that played for the team he just beat from 7-8 years ago when almost no one in that audience even knows what statue or player he's talking about?

How many others had statues made? She meant a lot to them. It wasn’t a smart remark by Geno, even if I agree with it.
If he really wanted to take a dig at SC he would’ve said some programs will hang a banner for anything. Here at UCoNN we hang banners for NCs.Not sure it was a dig at A'ja or South Carolina. My guess is McGraw.
