Bria was horrible on offense...I was screaming at the TV for her to stop shooting but she didn't hear me

She was taking open shots...or the shots needed when the offense broke down. Most of the time, she won't be that bad from the field. It happens.

She also seemed to have a stubborn five minutes, where she was forcing the three point shot. With kaleena out, it's going to be important that she makes those shots, not that she stops taking them.

Yup. A shooter has to keep shooting. Diana and Maria C., two of our very best, both had horrible streaks. Sometimes the ball just will not go in the hoop. Bria is not likely to have another game like this one.

Bria did so many other things well. The most important thing, as pointed out by Chris Dailey, was that she didn't pout over missing the shots. She continued to play hard and make plays. It's a sign of maturity which is such a good sign for this team.

It was a poor shooting night, but I'll take 10-3-6. In other words, she had a hand in 22 points out of 72. So she was a valuable piece. And one of her assists was especially awesome, IIRC.

Her defense in the second half on Thomas makes up for most of the misses - she was Kelly Junior - just really smart defensive performance.
