Geno pokes fun at himself..

For those who haven't seen it, there was a funny exchange between Geno and Kerith from the most recent Geno Show when Kerith asks about Geno's comment that, "We're ready to win these kinds of games but we're not smart enough to do it."

Geno: "Ah... well... that was kind of a dumb statement by me huh? We're ready to win these games but we're not smart enough. That's like saying I'm ready to go to medical school, I'm just not smart enough to go there."

He actually had a great point towards the end - he said that we may not have a 1st team AA on our team (top 5 player in the country) so the reason we've won the games we did (against Duke, Stanford etc), is because collectively we played really well. If we don't have a "Maya Moore, Tina Charles or Brittany Griner", the only way to beat those 2 top teams is to collectively be better than we were.

You could also take it as a poke and/or realistic comment about Bria. Lots going on with her this year -- just like any human being. Even if she doesn't make the AA team, there's always the possibility she clicks in for the last half of the season.

I think we do have an AA: KML
