Auriemma wishes game would’ve been Nationally televised

Execs at SNY scratching their heads maybe? Head bang
Creatively edited comments from Geno - in his post game he did a nice little riff about SNY and was quite complementary. Somehow the discussion now is ESPN broadcast channels are the only 'national TV' tell that to the NFL that does exclusive NFL network broadcasts, or the millions of people who follow their teams nationwide on BTN or ACC or Longhorn or Pac12 or SEC networks, and tell it to the millions who have access to ESPN streaming or SNY. Or any of the pro leagues that all sell exclusive packages to be able to access your team outside of the team's local market.

SNY is available to people nationwide with no 'black-out' for WCBB - do you have to pay a little extra, maybe. But it is a high quality product and most sports fans are already paying that little extra for any one of 15 or 20 extra sports channels.

I guess there is a sense of loyalty to ESPN as the network that expanded the audience for WCBB. Unfortunately, now it seems that being the SEC Network and the ACC Network may skew their judgment about game selection.
