He follows our comments closely and wants to keep us off balance.:)
Yes. He knows from a poster in the closed thread that we're onto him.

But he can't confuse us. His substitution decisions reveal that he "dislikes her extremely" and is far more tolerant of mistakes by those lackluster other post players whom he favors.

When asked why Stef gets so many open looks under the hoop, Geno said it was because she runs hard down the court and some of our guys jog (paraphrasing). You could see Kiah jogging yesterday. Seemed like there were other times she was standing and another player got the ball away from her. I am still rooting hard for her and want to see her develop into a rebounding/blocking force. It is going to be very important next season.

Did you see the interview yesterday with Geno and Tina. Tina talked about how it was tough for her the first couple of years until she got it. Wonder what advice she would give Kiah.

Tina is a special person and player. You also heard her talk about her desire to be the best and that she knew Coach Auriemma was the right coach for her. Some players want to be the best and want to be pushed, others don't.

Kiah doesn't know how good she is. She is happy getting rebounds and blocks and just be part of the team. Until Stef graduates she will not assert herself. She is deferring to others to control the game. Sort of what happened with Stewie last year during her bad spell. (now Stewie just plays hard and doesn't get down on herself when she missed shots).

Until she realizes that she can dominate a game with her talent (Geno once wondered why she doesn't shoot more often when she was making like 20 in a row in practice during her freshman year) and that can happen anytime, and plays mean and hard and takes criticism by playing even harder and not be afraid of mistakes, she will remain a talented backup. She is still a joy to watch and her defense is incredible.
