Not necessarily Gampel related but 1989-90 season related. 30 years ago right at this moment UConn was in the middle of taking down would be #1 Georgetown at the HARTFORD Civic Center. The first few minutes of the game we get out to a 10-0 run or something. Place was electric as we had just knocked off Syracuse a few days earlier. And as I mentioned the Hoyas were going to be #1 when the next poll came out. Loudest I've ever heard HCC.
