Gampel + XL Seating Configuration Changes

There is a good amount of construction going on on event level behind the visitor bench/student section end.

I would not be surprised if they flipped the home bench to that side & a new home locker room could be added (along with greater VIP area's). Move the students & vistors to the other end.

UConn Athletics email out to day provides current UConn point totals by venue & notes March 31 deadline for donations that will effect seating selection. Not much else by my read.

I feel pretty good about my chances to buy tickets next year, but feel terrible about my chances to get seats as good as I have now for anywhere near the price I pay now. Sucks but it's a race to the top for revenue across the board in college sports these days

This won't happen unless they build a brand new building on campus
Forgive my ignorance but what’s the correlation? Is it not costly to build a new building on top of the ticket sales that UConn got from the lower bowl? I’m just asking how a new building (gym, classrooms, open space, what’s the new building) adds to students being in half of the lower bowl?

We need to put students on the sideline opposite the cameras. It’s a necessity to cement us as an ultra Blue Blood.
We need to take that step while we are at our zenith so it becomes tradition.

Yeah, no.

Nah I do just fine rooting for the team in my seats in front of the cameras.

How about just make each seat a toilet? All problems fixed.
I don't think it's possible to overstate the genius of this solution. Sure there are some logistical problems, but, it would eliminate bathroom lines and likely increase beer concessions.

Any one else remember the Burt Reynolds flick Semi-Tough? When Burt went to novelty store and bought the "Cattleman's Helper"?

My additional thought was to also include beer tap lines right to the seat, so in one out the other.
