aren't there a ton of concrete benches that people have to sit on?

Actually,no! The benches are wooden bleachers. Still pretty uncomfortable though.

Yeah, the bleachers (plastic I think) are an issue. In order to get more capacity they squeezed in bleacher seating. On the upper side with seatbacks there are around 15 rows. On the bleacher side there are more like 25! Add in the expanding size of people's backsides and it can get really cramped! I try for an aisle "seat" if I get bleacher seats. But not easy to fix since they cant just put seatbacks on that side.

Good idea, he could get it done.....and make Mexico pay for it.

A bummer about the ceiling, but I can see if they don't have the funds for it. The larger problem is that if we don't have enough $$ to repair the ceiling now, what else won't we have $ for going forward?
