Is it me or does Napheesa look like the best option at the 3 right now for team USA?? If it’s her or Diamond I feel like you go with Pheesa. Diamond is boom or bust with a more likely chance to bust. Diamond the flashier & probably better scorer from the 3 but Collier clearly the better all around player.

I’ve openly not been a fan of Ogunbowale because of her shot selection but she’s been terrific tonight, especially with making plays for others.
Arike is very aggressive. Sometimes she can shoot her team out of games, but when she's hot, she's amazing.

If Arike and Diamond can learn shot selection, they can be really good.

Twice Debbie referred to Nneka Ogumbowale. Must be a hybrid player.

And Kelsey Mitchell. Agree with your statement but I was more surprised with her all around effect on the game.

White wins by 100-75.

A nice SC photo with Dawn and her current and former players.

Kelsey is a shooter. From anywhere. Win or lose.

Napheesa is a better basketball player. She didn't show the 3-pointer she has been working on, but she looked solid.

Diamond was the most athletic player out there, but sometimes she looks like Usain Bolt would on a basketball court.

Anyone know where there's a box score or better yet a rebroadcast?

She was awful last night; I went to the game. Arike plays with a ton of confidence.
Please provide as much detail as you can. I watched it, but there appeared to be only a few of us doing so.

Yes, Arike is a confident, aggressive player. When I say that Chrsityn Williams is a cross among Ogunbowale, Durr, and Taurasi, that's what I'm referring to.

A'ja had a good game rebounding and scoring, including her mid-range game;
I love Arike's confidence and aggression;
Napheesa had a very nice game and seemed to be everywhere;
Kelsey isn't a very good teammate, imo, she takes too many bad shots;
Diamond looked ok and didn't take as many bad shots as in college;
Tyasha shot from the outside with confidence;
Allisha came on in the second half and had some nice baskets;
Shepherd is fearless. ND will be tough to beat;
I can't think of anything else at the moment.

She started and played 27 minutes. I think she may make the team.
She’s a chameleon. A Swiss Army knife. She can fit herself into any team seamlessly and make it successful. My all time favorite UConn player along with Moore.

By the time the Olympics roll around both Pheese and Lou are going to be tough to keep off the team. A healthy Lou might have made this one.

With the defections, I think Lou would have made this team. I wouldn't take her over Maya, but I think both of the "twins" are strong candidates for 2020.

Thanks. I largely agree.

A'ja has developed better than I expected. However, I still question her shot selection. I'm sure this is an exaggeration, but it seems as if she shoots 80% on 8-10 footers in the lane or on the baseline, but 20% at best from 19 feet. Early in the shot clock, I'd like to see her pass rather than take a shot beyond the foul line.

Sometimes, Arike can be too aggressive, but overall I like her attitude.

Diamond was great for 10 minutes and then average.

Yeah, Pheesa continued to be a ball magnet. She makes plays of all types.
