Trying to get from Stamford to the Rent on the Thursday before Labor Day is always so stressful it takes some of the enjoyment out. My car is packed but for the food itself. Hope to leave the office by 2, but even then (figuring half an hour to stop, change and pack food) would have me lucky to be there by 5:30. And memories of missing much of the first quarter in prior years remain.

You'd think the local news can get off the Yard Goats' jocks for one day and mention the UConn football game tonight in their forecast but . . . . nope. Bunch of yahoos.

I actually had a dream two nights ago that UConn won 54-50. Before I completely woke up I remembered being happy they won then realized they gave up 50 to Wagner. What a nightmare.
