I think it would, too, but I think it depends on what Lee is looking for… great coaching , or NIL money. TCU has deeper pockets than us, but then again, so did Texas.Well that would be a great fit.

Does TCU really have deeper NIL pockets? I have doubt about that.I think it would, too, but I think it depends on what Lee is looking for… great coaching , or NIL money. TCU has deeper pockets than us, but then again, so did Texas.
Getting a lot of minutes. With all these rumored visits, where does this leave Kitts and Watkins?
Kitts returns as a starter (small forward, much like Edwards, except with a better mid-range touch). With all these rumored visits, where does this leave Kitts and Watkins?
In South Carolina, we think of a potential rich donor to the athletic program as being worth tens of millions of dollars. In Texas, that potential jumps to the hundreds of millions of dollars, with a smattering of billionaires mixed in. Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, and SMU all have multiple donors like that, especially Texas.Does TCU really have deeper NIL pockets? I have doubt about that.
Rich “ donors” can’t do squat for buying players. Coaches? Yes. Stadiums ? Yes.The can donale trillions but the school can only spend 20.5 million on paying players in all sports . For ALL SPORTS. Do you think TCU is not gonna do like the rest of us P4s and spend most of it on football. In South Carolina, we think of a potential rich donor to the athletic program as being worth tens of millions of dollars. How do you think Texas A&M bought out Jimbo Fisher’s contract in order to let him go early? That’s why I feared Texas being brought into the SEC. Their pile of money is an order of magnitude larger than anything we ever thought about before we let them into the club, even larger than A&M’s. So yes, I think TCU can easily outspend South Carolina.
Leaves Watkins ready to start practicing as soon as practices resume. Leaves Kitts rehabbing til nearly the start of next season .probably limited minutes til second half of the seasonWith all these rumored visits, where does this leave Kitts and Watkins?
You are so naïve. That is all the school itself can offer. The players can sign deals outside of what the school will pay them. That is what the original lawsuit was all about. Every school has an outside entity making deals for the players. Texas and others can WAY out spend South Carolina. What do you think the Garnet Trust is? Yes... an outside entity that secures financial deals for the players.Rich “ donors” can’t do squat for buying players. Coaches? Yes. Stadiums ? Donors are irrelevant unless they are third parties who pay the players directly for NIL services rendered. I have heard internet fables about Texas oil companies paying TCU wbb players to make oil rig safety films. Yeah, anybody ever seen one? No. Can anybody point to any ads TCU players have done for Texas oil companies?
You can point out ads that JuJu has been paid big bucks for. Ironically, They ran them during UCLA’s games.
Show me the big money contracts that TCU players get.
BTW Us, Texas, UCLA and Duke get about a million extra for our roster through NEW Era tournament that pays 3 .rd party NIL through us to the players.
