Yup, but I remember that day when Cincinnati came into the Rent on a brutally cold Senior Day with UConn needing a win to go bowling. The Cincinnati coaches including Mr. Weist, wore short sleeve summer shirts. UConn came out bundled to the tops of their helmets and threw a turd in the punch bowl with HCPP grinding his teeth and looking at his shoes in frustration.

Gotta think that day is in our distant past. But it is still a nightmare that recurs on occasion.

I can see this happening. This could definitely be a trap game for Duke.

I read that forecast to mean the rain will occur in the morning and be gone by afternoon. But we are are still 5 days out so anything could happen with the weather, including a howling blizzard.

->UConn enters this year's matchup undefeated at home and with quarterback Joe Fagnano, who ranks sixth just below Duke's Darian Mensah in the FBS with 2,529 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and no interceptions. Defensively, the Huskies are tied for third in the FBS with 33 sacks and are holding opponents to 23.89 points per game. UConn has also only turned the ball over once this season, sitting at a plus-10 turnover margin.<-

I think the concept of trap game is interesting

I’m gonna go one step further and say that we’re not a trap game. When I think of trap games, I think of teams that really have no place winning, but they go ahead and pull it together for one game..

We have some players that are top in the country on offense. Yes we’ve lost some bad games and I get it ,,,, but there’s something about playing at the Rent. And there’s something about this offense that makes us a legitimate team to knock Duke off..
