its one of our very few traditions. Just shake the damn keys. And please, can the band ring the bell correctly and on a steady beat?
I most worried about the offensive line and the offensive line depth. You can have the best skill players in the country but if the line doesn't protect and open holes, the skill players are going nowhere. The starting 5 seem to be OK but still somewhat unproven. The depth concerns me because it is hard to make it though a season without some injury at OL. They might be totally fine, but I worry there the most.
I am not as concerned about the defense. Last year we had returning players but a new defensive scheme. This year we have a returning defensive scheme but new players. I see that as the exact same thing. As long as the talent is there, which it seems to be, the defense should be as good as it was last season.
Some friendly trolling from your in-state "rivals" from across the river. We really need a trophy for this game!!!!!! 😁
Where IS this week's depth chart, btw?Last week Mora mentions Ty Chan by name as one of the starters and this week his name is nowhere on the depth chart and no mention of injuries. Sure do wish someone who covers the team would ask a question about Chan.

I wonder if he is dinged up enough that he did not land on the 2 deep for this week. Mara stated that only one player on the two deep was hurt. He didn't include players that were not on the 2 deep in his statement. Early in the summer camp we heard that Chan was playing left tackle. At the end of camp we heard he was playing left guard. Maybe he hasn't mastered our blocking system yet. It will be interesting if we see him play on Saturday.Last week Mora mentions Ty Chan by name as one of the starters and this week his name is nowhere on the depth chart and no mention of injuries. I respect the logic here, but it’s also about unity and pageantry. We don’t have many traditions and I’m not about to look down my nose at this one."Shake those keys." I have never thought that keys make much noise at all. With the advent of keyless ignition and smart door locks, there are fewer and fewer keys to shake. Would rather have them just say "get up and get loud" as one idiot like me yelling will drown out a hundred key-shakers.
If they get really good, they will have to be shown the money and still, off to P4 they may go.I know it's a little off topic but I'm saying it anyways... I sure hope that the 3 frosh DLinemen (Nykobi Brown #17, Aubrey Melvin #93, and Delano Brown #99) develop into a core group of our DL during their maturation process here...
Shaking keys make so little noise it's absurd to even be talking about this. If you want to make noise with your hands well yelling, clap loudly.I respect the logic here, but it’s also about unity and pageantry. We don’t have many traditions and I’m not about to look down my nose at this one.
My question: Why not both yelling and keys?
Streaming UConn+ is free and available nationwide. So, can I assume that the only way to watch the game on TV is local OTA and streaming services in the Northeast?
