Our RBs are good receivers, especially Edwards and Brown. With Fagnano back I see us being able to use the passing game to help out the run game. But obviously we need to be able be balanced on offense and get our backs going. Fagnano is not a running type QB so Gordon will have a plan to get things moving. And he is not afraid to pass to the TEs off playaction.

Some questions from the depth chart. No Ty Chan? No Kervins Choute? Diomande starting?

No Ty Chan on the OL depth chart. This after Mora called him out by name last week and plenty of preseason film of him working with the 1's. Initial thought is there's an injury keeping him out of game 1.

I expect a fairly vanilla game plan on offense. The coaches know what the offense can do.

On defense the coaches are still learning about the guys. I think we will use a lot of players as the coaches continue to figure out who can do what. They will want to see if we can generate a pass rush with four and who steps up with the lights on.

Most interesting to me is the number of P-4 transfers who apparently will be sitting behind players whom we recruited directly out of high school. That's not a bad thing, but an interesting one.
