Mora presser highlights-

-confirms Mel Brown can play this week and still redshirt.

- expects everyone who went out to come back this week. Good shape health wise.

- FAU presents different challenges than last week. Throws a lot. Has played good teams tough. Good at home. 3-1 at home. Has one of the top receivers.

Now that this season's ship has righted itself and the team is 8-3, it's nice to not be triggered or have Stockholm Syndrome when I hear a coach talk about defensive players and where their eyes are during a play. During the down times, hearing those words would remind me even though things suck, it can get worse.

Now? It's almost humourous.

-> “I am proud of this,” Mora continued: “There’s only two teams in the Group of Five, us and Tulane, that have beat two Power Four teams this year. We wish we were 3-0, we’re 2-1, that’s behind us and now all our energy is just on trying to prepare to do the best we can against FAU.” <-

-> FAU’s Caden Veltkamp is right behind UConn’s Joe Fagnano on the national passing yards leaderboard with 2,971 on the season (Fagnano is sixth, Veltkamp is seventh). Veltkamp, a redshirt-junior who transferred from Western Kentucky, has completed 66.3% of his passes this year with 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. His former teammate at WKU, Easton Messer, has been his top target with 83 catches on the year for 847 yards and five touchdowns – one of three receivers to find the end zone five times. <-

I've been following Veltkamp and Messer all year, they are a really solid duo. I'm not overly concerned about Veltkamp though, he throws a ton of picks... Hoping Chadwick and Brinson are licking their lips thinking about this matchup
