Do they have Blue Lot parking passes or are they parking at the school across the street or in red lot? How generous is the University with press passes? Inquiring minds want to know...lol

I hope to see us execute simple pass plays like the short to intermediate passes out in the flat to TEs. Run the play in big spots as if it's only run at the start of the game to perfection.. Keeping it simple and executing simple/open pass plays will do it for me.

Words not often seen together in the wild…

-> Huskies High Powered Offense

Led by quarterback Joe Fagnano, a seventh-year player, the Huskies’ offense currently ranks 25th in the country (34th in passing, 42nd in rushing).

Through five games, Fagnano has completed 109 passes for 1,201 yards and seven touchdowns, and he has yet to throw an interception.

“There aren’t many things you can throw at him that he hasn’t seen,” said FIU head coach Willie Simmons. “He’s a veteran guy and very efficient. He’s played four games and hasn’t turned the ball over, so he takes care of it and does exactly what we ask our quarterbacks to do. When we say, ‘Drive the car,’ he does it. He’s got good players around him, so he doesn’t feel like he has to go out and win the game — he manages it really well. He has a great understanding of their concepts and a strong grasp of what they’re doing offensively. You have to do a great job of making him uncomfortable, getting him off his spot, and taking away his first progression so he has to go to the second or third. If you let him get into a rhythm, he’ll carve you up. We have our hands full this week with another veteran quarterback, much like a couple of weeks ago.” <-

Nice evaluation. But JF goes thru progressions? Not sure I have seen that yet. 🙂

UConn is G5, or G6? I saw another ranking which did no include UConn and wasn't sure if they didn't consider UConn G5 or just didn't make the cut. regardless, UConn needs to get into the top 10 regularly and should move up this season

This is great! I was curious how this works, whether UConn is a sponsor or Nick is just a huge UConn fan. Now if the NCAA would sponsor racing!

A New Partner: UConn

Nick Anglace Racing is proud to welcome a powerhouse partner for the 2025 season: UConn Huskies!

Fresh off their incredible victory in the 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, UConn brings its championship pedigree and relentless drive for excellence to the race track. Together, we're setting our sights on victory in both the SK Light and Open Modified divisions. New motor. New car design. New partner. Same driver. Same goal - win.

This isn't just a partnership-it's the beginning of a championship pursuit.
Welcome to the team, UConn. Let's go racing!

See an eye doctor.
You are indeed a fanboy.

I saw him throw incomplete to a double covered receiver, and in his line of sight was another UConn receiver wide open underneath with no defender between him and the goal line. I could not believe it. My eyesight is quite OK, thank you.

You know, I saw Tom Brady throw an interception. Bad pass to a covered receiver. I couldn’t believe it. Worst thing was Welker was free over the middle. Just goes to show it happens even to the great quarterbacks.

I can’t believe people are bitching about a guy who has a 65% completion rate, over 1000 yards, 7 touchdowns with 0 interceptions. And he ran for 65 yards last week. Some of you guys would probably complain if Josh Allen was our starter. Who do you want as our starter?

I mentally cheat with these kind of rankings all the time, because in reality they don’t matter all that much and then I always end up on top. If we are included, “Great! UConn getting the love it deserves!”, if not, “Well UConn is an independent and functions like a P4 so they probably were not considered.”

Does this really matter? Ehhh, but what’s sport without a little extra to play for and some superstition. In Mora’s 3 previous Cancer Awareness games:

2022 v. Fresno State: 19-14 W
2023 v. USF: 24-21 L (sends shivers down my spine remembering this game)
2024 v. Temple: 29-20 W

So 3/3 on pretty heart testing games, not sure if that is indicative of this game theme specifically or just UConn football as a whole as we’ve seen all this year. Nonetheless get a win by any means necessary.

bad ass.

2nd week in a row we face a team with a pretty "TEMU" logo.
Husky head remains not my favorite, but it sure beats the heck of that super mario Goomba that FIU uses.
