EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – Syracuse junior quarterback Garrett Shrader threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns and ran two more in to lead the Orange past the UConn
Looked like Brewton got injured on his 2nd kick return. Noticed he got up kinda slow and was favoring his arm. The hits keep on coming.
On attendance, 25k looked about right. Was hoping for a few thousand more. Lots of orange shirts on the press box side lower bowl. Probably the highest attendance we’ll have this year. That’s the bright spot of hosting local rivals if you can weather the on-field frustration of games like last night.
I thought the same thing. He could actually slow down a half a tank and still be spot on that vibe. I’ve been semi-impressed with the UC TV group. They’re not bad and it’s fun to watch the progression as they get more broadcasts in.
Syracuse QB Garrett Shrader again headlines the College Football Week 2 Team of the Week.
