Huskies were ready to play. No reason to think they wouldn't be. But man, they look like mid-season quality so far.

The UCD kid was really hurt, but let's hope it isn't a long term problem. High ankle sprains are dreadful. I've had one, so hope it isn't that.

No, I'm saying how will anyone be able to guard UConn when UConn is on offense...
 
UC Davis has done a really good job of sagging on the interior - really hard to get the ball inside to either Stokes or Stewart. Outside shooting has been great - inside bunnies ... not so good!

Team made 11 3's in 1st half. Team record is 18 against Syracuse when Maya took it out on them.

Didn't think UC Davis played that poorly, it was UConn shooting lights out with great team defense. Like the defense I'm seeing Kaleena playing against UC Davis guards.

She needs more patience with the ball sometimes but hopefully with starter's minutes she'll hit her stride soon. But she is making a lot of decisive moves and cuts. And always a beast on the other end
 
Apologies if this was already posted, but in the first half, KML passed Wendy Davis for three-pointers made in a UConn collegiate career. KML now ranks #4 all-time, with Annie Strother, Maya Moore, and Diana Taurasi ahead of her.
 
Yup. Got that feeling I had during KML's soph season where she chucks it up and the rest of the team should get back on D because it's going in.

I don't think of Ann as a 3-point shooter. Guess I was wrong!
 
It's so weird having such a deep team. I feel like it's been forever since we had more than a 6-7 rotation.

I guess Stewie's freshmen year we went 8 deep, but Morgan was hurt some and by the end of the year Doty was only playing a few minutes at the beginning of halves...
 
16 Assists with 1 turnover in 1st half. Can't get any better then that.

Notre Dame is going to be much better than SC. Turner is the real deal.
