Facey was backing away, if there was a foul it should have been on Hamilton before the shot.

Facey got called for a phantom (not even close to contact with an out of control offensive player and no time left on the clock) while simultaneously another ECU player took a dive on a typical "tangled up on a box out" off ball. They gave ECU 4 shots and the ball. Neither were fouls.

Just brutal. How they come up with things like that after looking at it so many times is just beyond me, unless they are all on the take.

They called it on Nolan.

No the dead ball T was called on Nolan the foul was on Facey

They called a foul on Facey where he didn't even touch the guy, Nolan and the big guy for ECU were fighting for position and Phil's arm made contact with the other guy's face and he flopped. Announcers said Facey got a technical as well. I still have no clue what happened, we get the worst refs every week.

How is he going to argue? He can not have possibly saw both calls at the same time. You would only know what happened by watching the replay. The only call that should have been made was a common foul on Nolan for the minor elbow. The refs suck.

Even that was marginal. Great acting.

Whoever is in charge of the refs really needs to review that sequence at the end of the half. How can the officials watch the same replays as us and come to the conclusion they did?

First off, they should have been so embarrassed by the phantom on-the-ball foul on Facey that they didn't call the other terrible call. The ECU guy was so out of control and awkward that they assumed a foul. Clearly, Facey had given ground and was an arm's length away and didn't swipe down or anything. Not even close to contact.

Then the T. Two guys fighting for position with arms up high. Replays show little if any contact to the guy's face. What the replay did show was a clear embellishment by Zingari. How they could watch that replay and give a
flagrant 1 is criminal.

The refs gifted them a 7 point opportunity for which they only got two. Two more than they deserved.

On a positive note, Adams looks great. A couple bad turnovers but nice mid range jumpers and great penetration.
