I liked how it was team offense that last part of the half instead of one guy holding it then trying to make a play in the last 10 secs of the clock.

I tend to agree. He shot faked to get TSam off the ground. TSam had nowhere else to go.

Very encouraging to see us do so well with Bazz (and Brimah) on the bench. Our defense especially has been good. All our players are making major contributions. Love Ryan. Not perfect but very good.

Also throwing a zone on Nova, which is something they probably are not used to from a UConn team, is spot on. Good job KO.

When we crank it up on D we are as good of a defensive team as we have been in years, perhaps since 2004. I just wish we did it a bit more consistently but then again we had a number of teams between 2004 and now who had their stellar defensive moments but also did not defend as consistently as we would have liked.

TSam foul was not intentional. He was out of control and fouled hard, but, he grabbed the player to protect himself from injury.

Happy about the 1st half, but it's just the 1st half. Hopefully they keep up the intensity the rest of the way. Lots of game left.
