After going through 10 fakes in a span of 10 seconds, it looked like the Cincy QB was shocked there wasn't a pass rusher within 3 yards of him.

We had 3 lb's and a db in the flats covering no one. Could we spare 1 to rush the QB?

Why do we even return kickoffs. Would it not be better to get a touch back each time and take it on the 25?

I think he looks good. He was playing high school football in CT less than a year ago.

He looks not quite ready. Not his fault, but it is what it is.

He's not going to carry the team on his back through penalties and missed blocks and getting hit while throwing. If you thought so you need to adjust your expectations.

I've stopped grading on a curve with this team. We are supposed to be a D-1 program with competative aspirations. While I understand the pain that's coming the remainder of the season due to PP and friends, I refuse to allow the "well it's better than before" attitude set in. This is the sixth winnable game we've played in that we look like we are going to lose because we are just short of competative in a few spots.

I think one of the things I hate the most about this team is it's making football more irrelevant at this school right now. After first night last night everyone is all "When's bball start?" I refuse to give in to that as it's the fall, not bball season! I love our bball teams but I'm all about football right now and there are too many people now who, rightfully so, are done with this team and moving on.
