I hope Phil doesn't take this game personally. We would have lost by 14-16 without him stepping huge. A missed freethrow by a freshman big is a physical mistake I can live with 100 percent of the time. The mental errors by experienced players not so much.

You could see he was pretty upset with himself over that one. Just remember Phil, without your 8 pts and 7 boards, this one isn't even close.

Obviously yes. In many ways, he's a surer ball handler than Boat. He can certainly dribble into the lane well even if he has trouble finishing. If Boatright had his handle he'd be unstoppable.
